Terms & Conditions
TITLE TO GOODS
Until full payment has been received by the company for all
goods whatsoever supplied by the company to the Buyer:
A. The ownership of the goods shall remain in the company.
B. Should the goods (or any or part of them) be converted
into another product whether or not such conversion involves
the addition of any components, or any other goods, or anything
whatsoever and in what ever proportions, the conversion shall
be deemed to have been effected on the Company's behalf and the
company shall have the full and legal and beneficial ownership
of the full product.
C.Subject to (D) and (E) below, the buyer shall be at liberty
to sell the goods, and the product referred to in (B) above,
in the ordinary course of business on the basis that the proceeds
of the sale shall be the Company's property for which the buyer
shall account on demand.
D.The company may at any time revoke the buyer's power of
sale, by notice to the buyer, if the buyer is in default for
longer than seven days in the payment of any sum whatsoever be
due to the company (whether in respect of the goods supplied,
or any other goods supplied at any other time, by the Company
to the buyer, or for any other reason whatsoever) or the Company
has bona fide doubts to the solvency of the buyer.
E.The buyer's power of sale shall automatically cease if a
receiver is appointed over any of the assets of the undertaking
of the buyer, or a winding up order is made against the buyer,
or the buyer goes into voluntary liquidation (other than for
the purpose of reconstruction or amalgamation), or calls a meeting
of or makes any arrangement with its creditors, or commits any
acts of bankruptcy.
F.Upon determination of the buyer's power of sale under (D)
or (E) above the buyer shall place the goods and any products
that have been produced or converted using any of the Company's
components or other items at the Company's disposal and the company
shall be entitled to enter upon the premises of the buyer for
the purpose of removing such goods and the products from the
premises (including severance from realty if necessary).
CARRIAGE TERMS.
England All orders in excess of £200 nett Carriage
Paid.
Northern Ireland Carriage at Cost
Export F.O.B.
All orders of under £200 Nett, Service charge of £6.50
per order to cover packing and administration costs.
PARCEL POST
Goods sent by parcel post will be charged at the parcel post
rate plus 50% for packing.
STOCK BOXES
Stock boxes will not normally be broken. All catalogue items
concerned are clearly marked and stock boxes will be supplied
where orders are received for less than this quantity, unless
there are exceptional circumstances.
PRICES.
Prices shown in this catalogue are correct at the time of
going to press, however they are liable to alter at any time
due to fluctuation in the cost of raw materials and therefore
prices charged are those ruling on
the date of despatch of order.We reserve the right to alter prices
without notice. Quotations will always be provided if requested.
Errors and omissions excepted.
RETURNS
Goods supplied correctly to your instructions cannot normally
be accepted back to us for credit, but a handling charge may
be negotiated in special circumstances. Specially manufactured
items, of correctly supplied, cannot be returned for credit.
CLAIMS
Written notification of any shortages, damage or other discrepancies
must be sent to us within 3 days of receipt of consignment. Shortages
and damage must also be notified to the carrier. No claims can
be considered after this period. Where goods have been damaged,
please retain packing material. In case of non-delivery of goods
dispatched by carrier please notify us 7 days after date of invoice
so that the necessary claims may be made on the carrier.
PRODUCTION
We reserve the right to alter any standard specification and
unit pack without prior notice.
SPECIFICATION.
GUARANTEE
We undertake to replace free of charge any goods we have supplied
which are shown within SIX MONTHS from the date of sale to be
defective in manufacturing by reason of bad workmanship or faulty
materials.
ORDERING
Orders can be placed by Telephone, Fax, Mail or E-Mail. However
if placed by telephone a purchase order number must be quoted.
If making an enquiry for price, information or delivery, please
secure the name of the person spoken to. If you wish to send
an official order by Mail, Fax or E-Mail to confirm your telephone
order, please ensure that you mark this order "CONFIRMATION"
clearly so as to avoid duplication. ERRORS AND OMMISSIONS EXCEPTED.
